Herby Blue Fish

Happy father’s day daddy, I love so much. Happy fathers day to all the fathers, and responsible husbands. May you celebrate many more father’s days in excellent health.

Yesterday i visited this awesome food market. The fresh seafood could not be missed. I ended up with a haul containing blue fish, corn, various fresh herbs, ginger and loacker wafers 🙂

Hmart is quite a distance, but i will definitely visit again. Today, we cooked the bluefish. It was very fresh and quite tasty.

Ingredients
  • 1 medium sized Fresh Blue Fish (about 8lbs)
  • 1 handful fresh rosemary
  • 1 handful fresh tarragon
  • 1 handful fresh japanese basil
  • 1 handful chives
  • 1 scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1 sweet lemon
  • ¼ cup oil
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • 1
Instructions
  1. Scale and clean the fish thoroughly.
  2. Cut the fish into steaks.
  3. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze juice into a blender
  4. Add fresh herbs, pepper, an oil into a blender and blend until a smooth paste is formed.
  5. Arrange fish in a baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle salt all over the fish.
  7. Pour blended mixture all over fish and bake for about 20 mins or until fish is cooked.
  8. Serve with rice.

We had it with rice and corn.

    1. 🙂 It reminded of mackerel. More like the children mackerel and salmon could produce if they got married.
