I made Brioche!!! Yes Yes Yes… After days of scouring the web for a no-fuss recipe, i came across this fabulous easy to follow recipe from fine cooking, and this my friend is the result.
Brioche is a rich, buttery, bread perfect for cold mornings, especially cold mornings with someone you love 🙂
I tried to follow the recipe to the letter, and my Brioche turned out soft and buttery inside, although not as smooth on top.
I divided the dough into two, and then braided the first and put in a loaf man. The second was rolled out and stuffed with 100% pure cocoa powder, some sugar, juice from half an orange, orange rind, and dark chocolate chips.
The result was…. every chocolate lovers dream. Warm dark chocolate with a hint of orange seeping through warm, flaky, delicious Brioche goodness.
