Happy Friday Friends! How was your week? I hope all is well and delicious in your life. Today i will be sharing one of my “quick and easy” kitchen tips. Natural flavorful sauces! That is the tip – “Natural flavorful sauces”. This sauce will transform your culinary reputation and tantalize your taste buds. Now repeat after me… “MINA Harissa”
Recently, Mina let me try this absolutely amazing Spicy Harissa sauce. Prior to this, I had tried Mina’s mild sauce, it was good, but this spicy version was bursting with flavor and that punch from the heat.
Dinner shouldn’t take a long time and should be filled with as much love and care as Mummy’s Dinner. This Harissa sauce makes an impressive dinner happen in less than 30 mins, and your palate will sing!
This dish was so easy to put together, because of Mina Harissa sauce. With chicken breasts, canned tuna or any pre cooked meats, veggies, and Mina Harissa sauce on hand. You have a meal. Like literally.
Deliciousness is honestly quite inadequate a word to describe the mouth party we experienced using this sauce. It is so delicious that I ate it right from the jar with some plantains. It tastes so fresh, it smells amazing, and the taste is bold and yum.
The sauce is thick and rich. I like that it is all-natural, it is gluten free, low calorie and contains recognizable ingredients.
The sauce is versatile. I can see Mina sauce used with Egg sauce and Boiled Yam, as a dip for Akara/fried yam/plantain chips, as marinara for pasta, or as a base for beans, soup, stew, and even Jollof.
Yes o! I said it. Ditch your Jollof canned tomatoes for this sauce. The sauce is fabulosity all by itself. I used it to make this amazing Harissa plum goat:
that I enjoyed with Roast plantain:
and Grilled Eggplant:
I even ate it right out of the jar with breakfast Akara:
Mina really brought home with this sauce. It is a pantry must have. You can purchase Mina Harissa on Amazon, and in some stores. I have seen it at the Whole Foods in downtown Baltimore.
