Gush Post Alert!
Today i am gushing over Marley Spoon. We talked about their curry few days ago, and today it is these ultra fab Corn and Squash Fritters. One of the things i love about MS is the simplicity of their items and recipes. Who knew a simple herb salsa could pack in such bold flavors and punch?
I love that everything is so easy to prepare. In less that 30 minutes lunch was ready. Because of my Nigerian background, most things i cook tend to be based the popular nigerian red stew. The stew is the base for everything. From soups to casseroles… everything!
With Marley Spoon, there is variety in my household #NotEveryTimeStew I love that. I love that the ingredients are so fresh, familiar, simple, and clean. The recipe cards are straightforward. A novice should have no problems with navigation using the cards. The portions are sizable and filling.
The food tasted GREAT! That is the most important thing right? In this recipe i substituted wheat flour for yam flour and it worked very well. As described in this post, the items were packaged beautifully in individual brown paper bags, and all tucked in neatly in a larger paper bag that was labelled. I mistakenly deleted the picture of all the ingredients laid out, please pardon me.
At less than $10 per individual meal, Marley Spoon is so worth it! I cannot say I love Marley Spoon enough :). For 1 month, they have given you, and I, and all Oya Come Chop readers $30 off the first box using promo code FALLFRESH. Now is the time to order!!! Tell a friend too!
