TGIF!
After an amazing Harissa chicken experience here, it was expedient to try harissa again with breasts. Mina Harissa sauce was spotted on the shelves of Whole Foods in downtown Baltimore. It was a lot cheaper than the price on amazon, so i decided to give it a try.
3 tbsp of Mina’s sauce, 2 large chicken breasts, some chives, dill weed, garlic, oil, cayenne and salt resulted in this dish. The sauce by itself was flavorful and i loved the rich red color.
I also appreciated that it did not have a “processed/artificial” taste that is common with most sauces/marinades. Mina sauce will be a nice dipping sauce for: baguette, plantain chips, or fried yam. It could potentially defeat the most popular supermarket marinara sauce in a pasta dish too.
Overall, Mina Harissa is a good sauce, It is not as spicy as others i have tried. I will try it again.
Noted!! That chicken looks yum though.. like you added some srirachi (hope that’s the spelling!)
