Plantain + left over finely ground corn = Plantain Pizza crust!
This crust is so easy to make and is uber delic!
Ingredients
- 2 large ripe plantians (peeled and sliced)
- 2/3 cup finely ground corn
- 1 medium onion
- 2 thai pepper (optional)
- 3 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
Method
- Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Pour blended mixture into a baking sheet and spread.
- Bake in a 30 degree oven for about 20 minutes, or until batter is no longer wet.
- Bring out of oven and cool completely.
Use as pizza crust or as dough for a savory rollup.
Cream cheese & baked salmon rollup.
Stew + cooked ground beef rollup.
Just rock on! If you can imagine it, you can make it 🙂
