Today i was looking for something easy… easy enough to cook in about 30mins using ingredients i already had at home.
This goat meat fit the spec. The cuts of meat were super tender, the ingredients for the sauce were very fresh thanks to my local asian store.
Starting out with a hot grill pan, toss in some oil and season the goat with salt, pepper and garlic.
Then place the goat in the hot grill pan and dance to the delicious sizzle 🙂 !
Cover goat with foil after about 5 mins to develop all the deep flavors.
Meanwhile heat up a non-stick pot and add the oil and the chopped onions.
Allow the onions to caramelize and then add stock cube, peppers and tomatoes.
Leave this sauce to cook on medium heat for about 10 mins while stirring intermittently to prevent burns.
After 10 mins, add the goat and drippings into the sauce, pour in the red wine, add the herbs, and voila this delicious lunch was ready.
